How to measure your ring size correctly?

Through the Internet, you can find many tips on how to measure your ring size at home: using a strip of paper, printing a sizing guide, using string or floss, etc.

But the main problem with these methods - they all are very inexact.
The best way to measure your fingers at home is to use a ring sizer (you can buy it locally at any marketplace).

Here are some tips on how to choose a ring sizer correctly:

  1. Metallic ring sizers are more accurate than plastic ones and give the actual feel of the ring on the finger.
  2. The correct size should not sit very tight on the finger, but also should not feel very loose.
  3. If your knuckle is bigger than the base of the finger, you should pick the size that hardly goes through the knuckle and ask to make your ring with deep comfortable fit. Because if the ring goes easily through the bigger knuckle, it means that it will be very loose on the finger.
  4. For the rings wider than 6 mm you should use a wider rings sizer (like in the photo attached)
